A.I./ethics
A pertinent note regarding the utilization of artificial intelligence in my works as well as a broad overview and discussion of artistic, musical, & computing ethics in this regard
None of my works to date—and as distinctly and adamantly planned, also none in the future—including artistic, linguistic/in writing form, or otherwise in any nature shall incorporate the usage of generative A.I. or such similar automated systems in order to create a given work. If I were to do so, this would itself be considered a direct affront upon the craftsmanship, time, effort, passion, and more necessary to design each piece, as well as my academic degrees and myriad years of professional experience—even prior to the time when artificial intelligence became known in the mainstream, including and especially in its generative form, the category of A.I. typically employed to derive synthetic, mostly or fully computerized output/content. In other words, I’ve been at this—that is, in the field of the arts—for a non-trivial amount of time and, critically, understand and appreciate the plethora of factors which must harmoniously coalesce in creative synchronicity in order to truly and effectively formulate all such uniquely meaningful artistic output, including that which is visual in nature as with the many forms of design, standing in parallel to the same qualities (time, effort, persistence, & more) it takes to create any audiovisual work or composition in the music-production sphere, also being a registered Sony music artist myself with Sony Music Publishing/SMP (formerly Sony/ATV Music Publishing).
In synopsis, all of my output/work is performed with artistic and creative intent, meaning, and significant ideation. Therefore, one can rest fully assured that each designer piece—denoting the artwork itself, present on the apparel—is uniquely handcrafted in a digital manner/fashion with my custom touch, vision, and more, performing direct and often many painstaking hours, days, weeks, or at times months [depending on iteration and ideation] labor, imbuing careful thought, precision, and character upon each artwork.
This is the foundation of my artistic integrity and stance on the technology of A.I. as it stands in the professional realm of the arts & sciences.
